Idy and Randane - Xara Lodge

Well, what a season 2018 was. I have been so busy with weddings and shoots I have had little time for anything else, until now!
Idy and Randane’s wedding was back in May at Xara Lodge in Rabat. Not my first wedding of 2018 as I also shot a few in April but this is one I have been looking forward to blogging since shooting it.
Idy and Randane are a really cool and relaxed couple. I knew as soon as we first met a few months before that the wedding would be awesome. Full of colour and emotions, it was an honour to capture their special day for them.
Xara Lodge is a great venue both inside and out, Idy and Radane made full use of both. I was really excited when I found out they would be getting ready there. The getting ready part of the day is one of my favourite times to shoot and when the bride and groom decide to get ready in the same place, well that makes it even better.
They had their ceremony outside in the garden and May is a great month for an outdoor ceremony in Malta. The rest of the day was spent indoors in the ballroom which is stunning.
